In a segment on the ‘greenest house in Europe’ , UK HFCA member Fuel Cell Systems was featured. The completely self-sufficient, net zero building in Devon will generate energy from solar power in summer, and store the excess as hydrogen. This will be used in the winter when solar resource is low.

Fuel Cell Systems have been working with the constructors in creating an off-the-grid home. Beth Dawson can be seen explaining the critical role hydrogen plays in enabling net zero, by making it possible to maximise the amount of renewable power energy systems can utilise.
