UK HFCA members BOC and ITM have collaborated with Scottish Power to generate green hydrogen for buses, ferries and trains. The “pioneering, strategic partnership to develop the UK’s nascent hydrogen economy” will see energy from Scottish Power’s wind and solar farms used to run an ITM-owned electrolyser. BOC, who specialises in compressing and distributing gases, will transport the green hydrogen generated to councils, factories and transport depots across the country.
